He co-founded Counsyl, a genetic testing company that screened for Mendelian diseases, which was acquired by Myriad Genetics for $375 million in 2018. He also co-founded Teleport, a job search engine that was acquired by Topia in 2017.

He joined Andreessen Horowitz as a general partner in 2013 and invested in many successful tech companies and crypto protocols.
