National Science Day Theme 2023

The theme for National Science Day celebrated on 28th February 2023 is “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, a government minister, announced the theme for National Science Day 2023, which is “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”. He explained that this theme reflects India’s growing global role and its desire to collaborate with other countries to tackle global challenges. The minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his guidance on the theme and said that India is ready for outcome-oriented global collaboration. National Science Day is celebrated every year on February 28 to mark the discovery of the “Raman Effect” by Indian physicist C.V. Raman. The day is an opportunity to raise public awareness of scientific issues and celebrate scientific breakthroughs. The Minister also said that India’s science and technology ecosystem has made rapid progress in recent years, and the government is committed to promoting science more effectively to make India a global leader in industrialization and technological development.
