He was born in 1984 in Bangalore, Karnataka, into a family of pepper and coffee farmers. He completed his Bachelor of Computer Applications at Bangalore University and his MBA in Marketing at Symbiosis Centre For Management and Human Resource Development. He started his career as a senior import manager at Jain Group Pvt. Ltd. in 2005. In 2010, he founded Satvikk Speciality Foods (P) Ltd., a health-focused food store in Bangalore, where he worked as a managing director till 2015. In 2016, he launched Happilo International Pvt Ltd., with a vision of providing nutritious and delicious snacks to consumers. His first product was Trail Mix, which became an instant hit. He faced many rejections from investors before starting his company with a capital of Rs 10,000 and two people. Today, Happilo has grown into a leading brand in the healthy snacking category, with products endorsed by celebrities like Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.
