Kedarnath Yatra 2023: The Kedarnath temple will open again after the winter season on April 25, and devotees can visit it then. The opening date for Kedarnath Dham was announced on Mahashivratri. People can visit the temple on April 25 at 6:30 a.m. A special prayer ceremony started at 4 a.m. at Omkareshwar Temple and was done by the temple priests. The Aarti of Lord Kedarnath was done at 8:30 a.m. Then, at 9:00 a.m., the temple committee’s Acharyas sat down to calculate the Panchang in the Panchkedar Gaddisthal. Finally, at 9:30 a.m., they decided and announced the opening day of Kedarnath’s portals based on almanack calculations. The students of Vidyapeeth and the workers of the temple committee will sing devotional songs all day long in the Omkareshwar temple area.
Badrinath Yatra 2023 will also start on April 27th.
The Badrinath Dham will be opened on April 27th at 7:10 a.m. The doors of the Dham portals at Rajmahal in Tehri will also be opened on Basant Panchami. The date and rules were decided using Panchang calculation during a function. In 2022, over 4.6 million people went on the Chardham pilgrimage. This was a new record for the first time in two years after the Corona pandemic. The Chardham Yatra finished on November 19th when Badrinath Dham’s doors were shut.
